KIDS LOVE TO PAINT

PAINTING PROMOTES OVERALL HEALTH!

Kids love to paint.  That’s a truth that even parents-to-be are likely to believe.   This interest in colors also has a lot to do with their growth and development.  Curious as they are,  that so-called “urge” to write on every surface inside the house is actually part of a process which in the end, in fact,  will help nurture their emotional, mental, physical, psychological, and social health.

PAINTING CAN BE DONE INSIDE OR OUTSIDE!
Painting can either be considered an outdoor or an indoor activity because you can paint anywhere you like. Especially when school is out,  teach your kids how to paint and make them productive.  TV and video games may help them get really well-informed, but other than some sports activities such as swimming and camping,  painting can really do wonders with a child’s mind.

ACRYLIC PAINTS CAN BE APPLIED TO ALMOST ANY SURFACE!
If you don’t want your kids to ruin your freshly-applied wallpaper,  you can choose from a range of surfaces for them to paint on.
There are a number of available surfaces, including canvas, metal, plaster figures, paper, and wood among others.  With a neat paintbrush and a palette,  you and your kids are good to go.

CHOOSE ACRYLIC PAINTS OVER OIL PAINTS!

Remember, however, that the choice of paint is important, so the best type of paint for them is the acrylic paint.  Oil-based paints contain toxic chemicals which may be dangerous to your kids’ health. Such types of paints also have fumes which they may inhale.

Acrylic paints, on the other hand, are water-based;   this means that they are easier to work with and are not potentially harmful to health.  They are also easier to clean, especially for kids who want their finished work neat and clean. To do that, just dab a piece of cloth in water and wipe the drips of paint off the canvas. It presents that much convenience since acrylic paints can actually be diluted with water.

ACRYLIC PAINTS ARE DURABLE!
When it comes to durability, acrylic paints are the choice type of paint.    After a long period of time, acrylic paints do not dry up, turn yellow, crack, and develop a white powdery substance on its surface which oil-based paints do.   It is great to know that you can actually preserve your children’s early work.   You wouldn’t know just how thrilled they’d be after seeing their masterpieces ten or twenty years later.
